Tip of the day: Choosing the right Bidding name
There are many factors that can help you to win a Penny Auction. One of the most important things that bidders need to keep in mind is: Choosing the right user name matters!
Winning a Penny Auction gives the bidders a chance of buying some great products and spending way less money than if they shopped at regular stores. Some Auctions have such a great deals, that they can take hours or even days to finally have a winner. Choosing the right name could be the difference between losing alot of money or winning an Auction with very few bids.
For example: If your are bidding on an Auction for a few hours and you feel that it will still be in progress for quite some time, you have got to start to think whether or not your competitor will get tired and give up anytime soon. However if your main competitor has as an user name 'Always Bidding to Win' all of the sudden you might start to think: What if 'Always Bidding to Win' keeps going? Will he ever give up?
Does it means that the bidders with user names such as 'Always Bidding to Win' or 'Never Stop Bidding' will always be the winners of Auctions? - Not necessarily. However choosing the right bidder name may give some people a foot up on winning Auctions because they can intimidate their competitors.
Choosing the right user name can affect the result of an Auction. Once people can start to connect somebody's bidder profile, it might adjust their behavior.
Now that you have got a great tip about choosing the right bidding name go to www.bidplayers.com to sign up and start your story as an Auction winner. Be ready to become a Bid Champion!

Penny Auction World: Understanding Online Auctions
Some people might still be confused about how Penny Auctions work.
Penny Auctions are online shopping sites which allows a person to buy a product paying a lower rate than the retail price. In most of the cases the discounts can go up to about 90% of the original price.
To be part of an Auction the user needs to purchase a bid package.
The Auction duration depends of the number of people trying to buy the product. Each new bid will reset the clock increasing the Auction time. Also for each bid the value of the product is increased by a penny. The last bid before the time limit is reached wins the product.
The most important thing to understand before you start bidding is: The person who best administrates the bids and the Auction time, ends up winning the best deals.

Facebook Phone?
You probably have already heard rumors about a Facebook smartphone. However, according to the columnist of the New York Times, Nick Bilton, the rumors are about to become true. Bilton says that Mark Zuckerberg has been hiring Apple's engineers, who helped to create the iPhone and iPad, to develop the Facebook phone to be launched in 2013.
After the New York Times news, tech sites around the world contacted the Facebook directors, who have only answered " Facebook does not comment on rumors or speculations."
However, the Business Insider also posted news about the Facebook phone a few weeks before the New York Times. The columnist Jay Yarow said "Facebook is building a smartphone in front of us". According to Yarow, Facebook's recent purchases of startups and launch of apps (like 'Camera') is evidence that the company is thinking of a much larger market than social networking.

Penny Auctions World: Online Auctions as a e-commerce option
Online auctions, collective purchasing, online outlets. There are so many innovations in electronic commerce that consumers have no excuse for paying more. E-commerce continues its unstoppable growth rate and the Penny Auctions market has grown with the online shopping growth.
Penny Auction sites have been available in the U.S since 2008 and they have attracted a devoted following. There are many internet blogs where Auction lovers can share strategies and testimonials.
Some people resist trying an online auction because they think it is a form of gambling. However the Washington state attorney general's office concluded Penny Auctions don't constitute gambling under state law. It is looking into whether they meet the legal definition of lotteries, which are regulated.
Whether being considered an entertaining way to purchase products or a very serious competition with a great prize, Penny Auctions are a growing market and they have become one of the most popular e-commerce options around the world.

Penny Auctions World: Brazil
We will start a new segment on the blog: The Penny Auctions World. Anytime we hear any news about online Auctions in different countries we will share it with you. The first country we will talk about is Brazil.
The pioneers of the idea in Brazil were Sylvio Avilla and Guilherme Pizzini. They decided to start this business in the country after Sylvio Avilla went to Germany and learned about this new kind of e-commerce. In 2008 they launched the first Penny Auctions site in Brazil, Olho no Click ("looking at the click"). After that the Penny Auctions fever completely swept the country.
With the help of two other partners they launched Olho no Click in 2008 with a budget of about 270.000 dollars and the success was immediate. By the begining of 2011 the website had already 400.000 customers, after achieving a profit of about 2.5 million dollars in 2010.
In 2012 Brazil has 121 Penny Auction sites. Despite the fact that only 43 of them are active, the brazilian online Auctions market expects for this year a profit of about 21 million dollars (same profit achieved in 2011).
